Can anyone help who has this engine in there car? Engine code AXR 100PD.I have an Octavia with this and it is suffering from a flat spot between 1000 - 2000 rpm it has no go in it until after this rpm which is very annoying with town driving which i most do and always stay in this rpm range.

Does anyone else have this problem too and what have you done about it? Any help would be greatly appreciated :thumbup:

Some people have reported that the AXR suffers from a similar stutter problem to the BLT 130 engine.

Does the AXR engine have a modified gasket also like the BLT or maybe they are the same? but looking at a BLT engine it looks different.Just had a 40000 service and that would cure this but no and the dealer says there were no codes found.
