APR Rev Limit

Featured Replies

Is there one?

It seems happy to go to 7500. Has the limiter just been moved up a bit or has it been removed completely ?

Anyone know ? I'm not brave enough to experiment.

Just accelerate in 1st until it hits it. Then change up. Then stop and clear the codes with a VAG COM :).

 isnt the "Maximum engine RPM exceeded - warranty void" code un-eraseable?

There is a special APR program that allows a higher rev position. Past 7.5k is all I'll say so I reckon your okay really :D

Must admit I never ask it to go beyond 6k as the APR tails of after then anyway on stock k03s Turbo :D

Normally I'm the same :) but have on occasion felt the need to leave it in gear while overtaking rather than changing during a manouver.

One advantage of my auto!
