Whilst bored at work I decided to find out how the VW TDI engine actually worked. Only then did I come across this in the VRS section:

The in gear acceleration times are 50-70 mph in 5.6 seconds, quicker than BMW's 330i which needs 6.0 seconds. 20-40 mph in 2.4 seconds is as quick as the Lotus Elise 111R. Fabias are also renowned for beating the roadrunner but only if chased by a coyote attached to some ACME rockets.[/b'] Despite this the Fabia vRS can achieve better than 5.4 L/100 km (52 mpg imp/44 mpg US). If driven carefully, some drivers have experienced MPG rates of 68 mpg+ over long periods.

Meh, nevermind. Was chatting on MSN to a mate who pointed it out, turns out he edited it for my amusement but has changed it back now!

I love Wiki, and the fact that anyone can alter entries on there. My favourite ever was the entry for Cheryl Cole (sadly now fixed) which used to read:
