Fabia Tellybox Features

Featured Replies

Hey,

Just spent a good while looking for this video and found it. The Top Gear feature on the Fabia VRS. Thought I'd post it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, because it's not on YouTube anymore. I know someone was hosting it before, but it's offline now, hence post.

Having previously owned a Cooper, a CooperS and currently a Fabia VRS I feel I am in a good position to compare the two cars subjectively. Whilst this clip is very funny to show to those Skoda bashers that still exist out there (in fact I have it myself on my Sky+ box), and whilst the Fabia VRS is an excellent car, if it's fun behind the wheel your after then it's the Mini everytime for me. Yes the VRS has the straight line grunt and that is VERY addictive, but for going round corners the Mini is in a different league and on a twistier track there would be no contest. In fact that is the biggest thing I miss about the Mini, chucking it into a bend and being 100% confident that you will make it round, lets face it we all know that the VRS is not the best handling car in the world by far, and as for the brakes.........

Just by way of confirmation, I am not, nor have I ever been, employed in the hair care industry. :P;)
