cooper s vs 4x4

Featured Replies

late last night i was going to my girlfriends house from my house, about a 5 minute drive up a bit of bypass. my girlfriend was in her car (a 1.3 hyundai accent) and i was in my 4x4, approaching the bypass there was a cooper S between us that kept hanging back then booting it, hastling swmbo. to get on to the bypass you have to go round a big round-about, swmbo went wide to let the mini past, so he booted it and me being me i thought i'd give it a go. much to my surprise i sit on his a55 all round the round-about and up the on ramp with him booting it and looking in his mirror with a slightly confused expression on his face, the only time i lost a little on him is when i was changing gear, this is cos my clutch is shagged(thrust bearing gone i have super slow gear changes where the box is really stiff as a result).

i was just really surprised that my standard 4x4 kept round corners and twisties and then in a straight line with a cooper S, anyone else tried it with a cooper S in a standard car, vRS is cheating maybe seeing as they have 30 more torque and about 20 more power

been stuck behind \ passed with ease cooper S's cross country several times, not sure if any are really being driven hard, as it seems just too easy.

(ok, so I do have a little more power than you bengie)

if it helps I kept up with a cooper S around a big round-about the other day, though I let off rather than have a smash as he cut someone up at the last minute the mad fool!!

but even so not bad for a diesel heehee

Even more fun in a re-mapped Octy RS...

Total embarrasment for the Cooper S driver
