I've got a X reg Fabia and want to fit a roof rack.

I remember reading somewhere that if you have the Skoda Octavia brand (well it's Thule really) roof rack that fits on the roof holes (not the type that clamps underneath) then you can also fit it to the Fabia by adjusting something on it...

Anyone know about this???

I've been struggling to find the Fabia kit (LAT 410 001) but can get hold of the Octavia kit (LAM 071 040A)....

Going off this website Thule Fitment List it seems they are the same.

Although it does have the Octavia as a 4 dr saloon!!

The width between the fixing points will need adjusting.

If you're brave enough, I'd go for it.

You may need to buy new feet from Thule. I have a Thule roofrack and have bought feed so that the same set of bars will fit my wifes Honda Civic and my Octavia. It takes about 2 minutes to change the feed and reset the width and then it fits perfectly on either car.

I've got a Skoda roof rack for a hatch octavia but even when adjusting the wdith of the legs I still couldn't get it to fit on the rear of an 06 fabia hatch. It only seemed to be about 5mm to wide.
