Have you got to order it from a specified leasing firm that your company uses or order it from any dealer? Otherwise you could probably push for all of the above including Xenons - Go for the whole show.

Got to use specific lease company through work I'm afraid.

:iagree: What the hell do you want FRONT parking sensors for, and the heated seats? The only thing worth having is the rain/ambient light sensor.

Get the options you want, I say...

Xenons - no doubt are great (had them on previous car) but are we saying the standard lights are crap? I find them perfectly acceptable - and used the £500 for something else.

Front and rear parking imho are worth having - but then I have to park in the road and cannot judge the front/rear of the car very well.... Worth every penny imho. Unfortunately doesn't stop other people from bumping into you ;(

Auto-dim/lights/rain - A nice package for £145 but ensure these are clearly written on your order. One too many people here missing the light assist on collection. Double check its written down correctly!

New car has a much coarser engine and also the fuel consumption is a bit of an issue at the moment.

Loved my previous car but fancied an L&K with the toys and leather etc.

New car seems better screwed together (less rattles and creaks) but the engine noise and thirst has cast a dark cloud over what is after all a £23k car (Octavia 2.0tdi 140 L&K estate, Island green with Columbus , front sensors, silver roof rails, privacy glass, TPM, Factory fit towbar,Zetor engine!!)

I changed mine for an L&K last October and was very disappointed with the initial fuel consumption, but I've still only done about 5,500 miles and the consumption is very much better - about 53-54 mpg after 8 miles or so from cold.

New Mazda 6.

I had a Mazda 6 for a couple of years - fantastic motor and I loved it, but SWMBO said it was too long and unmanageable etc. so changed to an Octavia with DSG which she loves. The things we men do for marital harmony!!!
