Driving along a B road (not fast) and a guy coming the other way's in the middle ofthe road, so I moved to the left, and saw something in the road, which I thought was a lump of snow out of someones wheelarch, so I moved a little bit further over, and (insert thread title).

Just as well I've got 2 spare (but kerbed) alloys in the garden, and I've just got another set (well, getting soon at least) to put winter tyres on.

Oh, the front left (the one that took the battering) has about 10MM of toe out. Just as well I've got a spare track rod as well.

Could have been worse, I could have collected the halfwit coming the other way. no one hurt, but I was a bit late for my tea.

OMG. Must really have felt that through the steerig wheel. Hope everyone ok.
