skoda probs

Featured Replies

Hi

First i am grateful that there is a skoda site where we can share our experiences good or bad..

I own a 1996 Felicia 1.3 estate and have been very happy on the whole with it.

Today though i changed my oil and filter and it came out very runny with a fairly strong smell of petrol.

Can anyone shed light on the problem??

Thanks in Advance

hi and welcom to briskoda:)

iirc i had a similar problem with an old capri a few years back and was caused by a faulty valve somewhere in the carb allowing fuel to leak into the inlet manifold, into the bores and eventually into the sump.i dont know wether it will be the same with yours, but worth a look .

welcome along
