As thread says r/h seat bolster on drivers side has collapsed, questions as follows

Where can I obtain new seat base /bolster and prices?

Has anybody done diy repair? or do I have to take car to stealers

thanks for the quick reply, but this thread is for "lumber support repair ", n my problem is with the base seat bolster door side. any part numbers would be good

I'm sure I've read on here somewhere you can buy the foam for the base of the seat from Skoda. It's the whole base as opposed to just the foam for the bolsters. I think it was around £80, but i can really remember!

honestly itll cost you less as youll have to get anew seat from skoda which will cost a fortune!!! so 2 second hand recaros will be cheaper!!! honest!!!

Priced up a seat for a Fabia VRS a while ago - over £1000.

It's not just a bit of padding, but a moulded foam base, it's also double density foam so that the base is firmer in some areas than others.

The seat bolster (padding for seat) is listed as a separate part and was priced at just over £71 in 2004.
