This afternoon I was greeted by the following warning lights when I started up which stayed on.

Orange emissions light

Handbrake warning light (flashing)

Power steering light

abs light

I checked the car over and when I started up again it was just the emissions light ?

Any ideas ?

Trip to the dealer I would say to get the diagnostic codes.

Ive had loads of trouble with my EMC light coming on, its been back to the dealers 5 times. They have now replaced the computer and its fine. It was kicking out a different fault code every time it went in. They fixed it and a day later it would come back on, then go off at intermitant times. I have an 04 Fabia Vrs may be its a bad batch of engine management computers. Anyway i sought legal advice before they fixed it. This is what they told me.

If you have had the car more than 3 weeks its going to be very difficult to reject it.

But they do have to fix it or give you a replacement car (replacement car is at their discretion. ie similar or same value.)

So i would take it back to the dealers and get them to have a look. Emc's are very expensive so it might take a couple of trips if they carn't find the fault first time round. I hope this has been of some help.

Thanks for the info. I am going to the dealer in the morning. Sound like it could be anything with so many lights. I bet I don't even have a light in the morning but at least they can check it over and look at the errors.
