Behind the bumper. I feel to access it, you will have to either remove the front bumper or get the car safely in the air, remove the nearside front wheel and some of the arch lining and get your hand in that way. Not sure where it actually connects to, thought it was all one piece. The sensor itself might be shot though.

On the fabia vRS just pull out the nearside foglight grill and you will see the sensor on a little mounting bracket
