The nice postie delivered an eagerly awaited parcel today, me Logitech GT25 Driving setup.:thumbup:

I've never used a wheel ont playstation before and it's absolutely commendable! It transforms GT5 Prologue from a mediocre sim into a rip roaring fun filled proper game!

The force feedback is just right and I love the manual gearbox, I'll never drive another auto after this. Each item is very well made, and well weighted, the pedals are superbly damped, the wheel is very comfortable and accurate and the gear box is an absolute joy.

Highly recommended and it works with a PC as well.

haha It's a 46! At least that's what I tell the missus. It does look small in the pics though.

The clutch has a similar feel to the accelerator if you use your feet, however if you push it down with your hand, it is only slightly less firm than the brake, which is quite firm. Less sensitiveity in the left leg I suppose.

I've tried changing gear without using the clutch in manual mode, and you loose revs if you do it that way. Its very intuative really.

Don't you find having to have the wheel bolted to the table a bit annoying? Don't your legs hit it when you're on the sofa? Or you have got to perch right on the edge?

I do need to alter the setup somewhat. It's not ideal just now. I could do with some sort of ajustable rig that fits round me chair... Hmmmm

I have the GT25 and it is fantastic. Only problem is that you need a really good chair / wheel clamp setup to get the best out of it.

At the moment, I'm trying to resist buying a playseat :eek:
