Does anybody know of any software that will emulate a keyboard in XP on the display, somthing like on a mobile phone or PDA that slides up giving you keyboard entry without a keyboard?

Have you tried the built-in one?

ie

Start -> Run

%SystemRoot%\system32\osk.exe

other handy tools can be found by pressing the left shift key 5 times :D

osk = handy and never knew it was there... :D

I use Infomap daily - it's embedded into one of our products. I personally hate it! MS Mappoint / Autoroute is far superior but not sure about voice.

TNT Travelmanager (http://www.travelmanager.co.uk/) is a good routeplanner + fast but again not sure about gps/voice - you'll have to do a seach ;)

Do TomTom do a PC based version of their s.ware?

I've used Infomap on a lappy with GPS. Crashed at least once every journey, and announcements arrived sometimes so late you'd still look at the display to see the road layout. That defied the purpose a bit.

Arh OSK it no bloody work on 2k with autoroute or infomap...

Darn it...anybody know of a good traffic jam so I can upgrade to XP?
