I am getting a black one in july to replace june o7 silver one.

Xenons - Heated seats sensors if you are blind and deaf !! maybe not deaf !! as all the other spec not std in uk is included i.e maxidot, cruise, auto lights and wipers jumbo box etc if you were to order all that with leather in a 170bhp golf it would cost approx 12k euro extra.

Gaff when i ordered mine 6 weeks ago i think the only alarm option now is the tow away one.

We went shopping and test-driving again this morning.

Her-indoors is insisting on the sensors so it looks like they'll be going on alright.

I want the Xenons so they'll probably be going on as well.

And the alarm just makes sense at the price so I reckon that'll be all the extras.

All is left now is for the salesman to ring me on Monday to confirm the price (I've been haggling again) and then it's just a case of waiting for July.

I went with curtain airbags. Firebrigade said they saved my aunt and uncle's lives on a nasty mortorway pile up.

Maxidot, parking sensors and the jumbo box malarkey are worth it too.
