The Handle Has Come Off The Box And He Cant Get Into It.

The Car Is On A Y Reg So Its Ready For Scraps, Hes Tried To Break The Box But The Plastic Just Seems To Bend Then Go Back To Its Original Form. How Can He Remove The Box Or Make The Tray Pop Out Like It Would If He Was To Open It With The Handle ...

Tried removing the seat?

As above.

It's held in by a few screws on the underside of the seat.

In fact, you could get away with removing the front seat bolts & loosening the back ones to tilt the seat back.

Hhhm ... Any Other Ways ?

From what I remember, it's just an ordinary latch.

If you don't care about damaging the box, then either drill the latch out or prise it out with a large screwdriver.

You need a bigger hammer!!

Approximately:

- Undo the battery.

- Unplug the seating wiring.

- Undo the 4 bolts to the seat

- Tilt seat back

- Undo the box and throw/put a new one on

- Reverse of this to refit. IIRC you are recommended to use new seat bolts.

All at your own risk and it's just a guess of course.
