brake lights

Featured Replies

i just come home to find my brake lights on. ignition not on, keys not even in ignition and car locked with alarm set. unlocked and turned ignition on to see if it would clear the problem and found that the little buggers have drained my battery. what the hell is wrong with my car??

Sounds like the switch that is usually on the pedal stuck. Have known on other cars its just worth putting a little vaseline on the pin that usually pushes up and down to put in the lights on. Not a great explanation put maybe someone can give a better one.

Faulty Brake light switch. Mine was replaced a few weeks after i bought the car for exactly the same problem.

15 minute job for a dealer, on warranty if you have one :)

Same thing happened on the Leon, had to pull the fuse to stop the battery draining.
