What causes the fuel light to illuminate, the gauge to drop to empty, my distance remaining (tc) to drop to nil, the low fuel warning to sound repeatedly and then go back to normal? I have never had this happen. I drove another 10 miles without incident.:confused:

never heard of that mate, fault in the sender unit?

Somone on here will be able to tell you, i would think

if it was the sender, would it be intermittent or just die?

Is this happening when you go up/down steep hills?

Level ground, tank 1/3rd full, normal driving conditions.

could be a loose connection etc....never really heard of that before

I have one last visit to the dealer next week before the warranty is up, so I will get them to see if it caused any fault codes. Cheers
