Hi folks mr puzzled here I was returning home in my Felicia Lxi and i pulled up at a junction and the engine cut out and no way would it restart. it wouldnt start whilst being towed. So i did the old spark plug on the block routine and there is no spark. The car has a bit of age with it 96 but low mileage It usually starts first time but alas it wont have any can anyone give advise or help me as to the possible cause or causes it would be much apreciated

wellcome,have you checked the main fuse first b4 spending any money,as yours got the coil pack on or plug leads,if leads it could be the litel box on the inner wing drivers side i think.good look.

either coil, or the hall sender on the top of the gearbox is broken or disconnected

As Teflon Tom says the hall sensor he could have it the nail with that one as i used to have a few problems with them some times you can just remove it via a 10mm bolt and clean it with a bit of fine emery cloth.Some also knows it as grank sensor
