Looks mean, not kean on the 2 colours though.

Really like the look of the red one, not sure about the other colour though.

Isn’t that the Lexus that has had mixed reviews? It’s supposed to be vey unruly. Bet it sounds great though.

It gets a good write up in the paper today , the Sun motoring supplement IIRC.

I think Auto Express, Autocar and CAR all thought it was nearly great but didn’t match up to the BMW and Merc equivalents. Mainly because of it’s slight unruly road manners. Still, it looks a great fun car and it is different from what the herd drive:thumbup: Me, i would have the M3 I think (not biased just always fancied one....a 6 cylinder one would do me if I could afford to run it)

Nice.....but i'd much rather have an RS4:thumbup:

An AMAZING car IMHO!!!

Father in law sold one for a C4S and i much prefered the RS4!!

But with all the weight of the engine in front of the driving (mainly) and steering front wheels it isn't exactly what you would call balanced and great handling

i bet an RS4 would seem like it handled quite well to us mere mortals :)

I want an old RS4, turbo power! :D

It seemed to handle very well with a friend (police instructor) at the Helm!!!:eek:

Ian:)

I'll take the RS4 thanks, in black.

Alan Partridge has never driven so fast.

This is the link for Autocar TV’s shoot-out with the Vauxhall VXR8, BMW, Merc and Lexus.

I didn't say the RS4 didn't handle well enough for us mere mortals, I just said relative to other cars in it's class it isn't the best.

Drove the IS-F today and kinda liked it :D. The sales manager was sitting next to me so did not get to go to wild in it, but wow can it move , and the noise above 3600 rpm .

Drove it mostly on smooth roads, but the ride did not seem to bad next to the IS250 that my friend currently has, considering the 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rears:D. Really impressed (and depressed me - as I cant have one:finger:). If my Lotto numbers come up could well be tempted

Erm really ???? Audi worked rather hard to move the V8 engine to on/behind the front axle of the B7 RS4, thats why it was one of Audi's first production saloons to actually get close to it's M3 competitior handling wise.

I think you may be thinking of the B7 S4.

I wonder how long it will be before ch4vved up Corsas etc have exhausts like that? :) Oh , and another thing , I see they've changed the lights back to normal at the back , so will anyone fit Lexus lights .... to a Lexus? lol!

Too late, I've already seen them like that on a couple of Corsas and Saxos. :(

All the rear lights look the same now from manufacturers like BMW,Audi,Lexus especially the IS220 but it still looks great.
