Does anyone know where you can get a cheap diagnostics kit thing (don't really know what I'm talking about!!) from to detect/reset fault codes, clear service light and mileage adjustment?

After one that preferably doesnt need to run through a lap top.

Has anyone got one or used one? Are they eary to use?

We wouldn't condone mileage adjustment on Briskoda.

You can buy handheld code readers fairly reasonably on eBay.

VAG-COM (or VCDS as it is now known) is a product of Ross-Tech
