Service indicator? the above has just come on screen, theres no spanner it says service oil? any ideas folks.

Hi all, my fabia is due for this service looking on here its a big one why? Any other car ive owned has never had to have a water pump etc as part of a service any one help with an explanation please.:(

If its 100PD TDi?

I just had a 40K service and they replaced:

Oil and filter

Air filter

Pollen filter

Fuel filter

Plus screenwash and other normal checks and i paid £233:thumbup:

Water pump isnt part of the service, although it makes good sense if you are replacing the cambelt to change it.

I think it bolis down to if you want to pay the extra money to have it done??

I asked about it when my 40k service was done but the service guy said he'd NEVER had a water pump failure yet so didnt bother with the extra expence.

I've got my 40k service next week and was advised to consider having my cambelt done later this year when the car is 4 years old.

I.ve always been told its 40K or 4years, whatever comes first. Bets to get it done in the 40k Service mate:thumbup:
