Well the quattro was soon replaced by the B7 A4. But on the resquest of Simon (Baker21) here are some pics of what the old avant looks like now.

The pics arn't the best as there is no lighting at all near my lockup.

Excellent!

The front-most centre console cup holder, mine is broke and won't stay down.

Roller boot-cover - mine's dirrty and horrible.

Boot carpet - rust staining on mine (mine's got chrome clips and screws in, I assume they're all like that?)

Boot sill cover

There might be more... but that's all I can remember at the moment!

EDIT: What's the paint code? It looks the same dark-blue as mine.... and mine currently has a green tailgate and rear bumper...

Bum...and all that is sold.

I have the boot and bumper though. The paint code is LZ5L

That sounds familar lol

How much?

  • Author

To a fellow briskodian £25 for both ?

Sounds good :D

I will double check the paint code, but it does look like the one!

Any chance of the sunroof control panel/interior light panel, and door handles (that plastic bits that hold the switches?)

  • Author

Sunroof control panel is in a bad way (scratched/worn), door handles went with the interior I'm affraid.

Okey dokey, rear panels it is then!

Well after a sunday morning of grunting and lifting, the engine and gearbox has been removed.

Ignoring the door.... you can now see the engine in one of my garage's and the empty front engine bay in the other.

Check you out with two garages............

  • Author

LOL... they're only rented from the council... £7 a week each.

Fair play, I used to rent one back in the day when I had my Nova but no such luck with rented garages on the farm.............

Do you still have the door trims?

  • Author

All the internal trims went when I sold the interior

Sorry, I meant the external lower trims!

  • Author

On the door or the sills ? The sill ones are cracked and broken.

The ones on the doors, tried to reclip one on and it's knackered!

The car got picked up by the local scrappy yesterday. The A4 is well and truely stripped now.

Onto the next project now. Picking up a mint 1996 polo 1.4 Cl for SWMBO on Saturday.
