Hi all,

Had a day off today so decided to start cleaning the car, it was a cracking day when I started and it was grey and cloudy but halfway through it started to spit with rain after I had applied wax to the car!

So a retreat to the garage was in order and with limited space in my dads garage bearly enough space to swing a cat, I managed to finish off the waxing of the car.

Here is the space in the garage we have when the Fabia is in, when my dad has his 207 in here there is not as much space to get out!

The rain decided to go off a wee bit so managed to get the car out the garage and polish it and start to clean the wheels, but mother nature was being cruel to me and it started to rain heavier.

So my plans to dress the trim and tyres and polish the wheels have been ruined as the rain does not look like going off at the moment.

So here is a couple of pics of the car cleaned in the wet!

Nice beading shots but you mentioned that you had it inside to wax then when the rain stopped you took it outside to polish.

I don't know if I read it wrongly but it should be the other way around as the polish will remove the wax surely!

thats what I ment mate, just wrote it in the wrong order!

Cheers mate, it was well worth the effot I put in today even through the neighbours were laughing when I was cleaning it in the rain, so what it gives me great pride to have the car clean.

The stripes really set the car off a treat.

I'll warn you now it's going to rain on Saturday afternoon because that's when I'm planning to wash mine. Works every time doesn't it!

I'll do a wee sun dance for you Kay, better not rain as I've got a 2 hour drive from peebles to perth on saturday evening.

I wish it only rained when i cleaned mine. Every time i seem to clean it, it gets a few extra dents and scratches...

Well i'm planning on doing more stuff to mine on saturday, so apologies in advance for the crap weather.

Spent around 6hours yesturday clearning my Furby, and not to rub salt into the wounds but at one point i had to venture inside for some sun tan lotion :p
