Another New Fabia question

Featured Replies

Hello,

has anyone ordered, or does any one know if it is possible to specify Fabia Sport seats on a new build Fabia III ?

Thanks

Dealer said no when I ordered my 3 estate at the beginning of March.

My dealer asked me if I wanted the sport seats or the regular ones when I ordered mine.

Of course you can!

@skisbp: How much would they be as an option, then?

No way to add Sport interior to a standard Fabia. Unless your dealer buys the seats as parts (if you can) and then you retro fit

Well they show as an option in the catalog/brochure...

Well looks like 233 euros off this link for Malta that Taski posted a while back not having much luck with the search function nor googleing at the moment. yet will try again later & report!!!

I will order about 250 fabias from the factory this year in various guises and I'm sure that if you could spec em with Sports seats I would know.

The only way you may be able to do it is to ask Skoda UK for a 'special' but they may still say no. But..at the minute the ordering system will not let you do it.

As the UK goes that sounds about right... Unfortunately many importers don't offer all the factory available options!!!

How could we put pressure on Skoda UK to offer the sports seats as an option in the UK? I'm sure it would be quite popular - I would definitely have them and they are one of the things holding me back from getting a Fabia estate now.

Ditto! Yet I'm in a different market... I've been looking into self/private importation.

What other options dont we get in the Uk then , does anyone know?

yeah you cant get them here, just checked it out.

shame cos i would quite like sports seats in the level 3 estate

What are the possibilities of ordering from a country where they do provide sports seats as an option? Anyone know about this?

Not sure about the full process in the UK for personal importaion... Might even be a bit more difficult as it's not like a short trip through the "Chunnel" & you're on your way back with your car from France or somewhere else on the mainland. As I'd imagine nearly all would be stocked to be sold Left-Hand-Drive... Yet I do recall back at the end of 2003 when I bought my current Ibiza Sport that some of the members on SeatCupra were buying & shipping in from Holland & other mainland Brokers... Would be nice if someone is aware, if Skoda has a factory pick-up option for special orders? Then the saved shipping expense could offset the drive & vacation to "CZ"+!!!

Yet I'd have to imagine that it would be easier to wait for the Fabia Scout if your not pressed on time!!!

Ak?ní model ?koda Fabia Combi Fit

This one ever make it to the UK?

Or anywhere else outside of the CZECH REPUBLIC? Looks like this is what many of us want in our Fabia II's!!!:orb_artis

No mate, this is the Sport interior ...

Personally I can't really see the point of a Fabia Scout as it won't have four wheel drive so won't be any good off road. It seems to me to be the worst type of vanity purchase - a totally pointless one.

We have an Octavia Scout that we use off-road quite a lot (on tracks and across fields) as my wife is a farmer - we wouldn't have got it otherwise and it does the job we bought it for extremely well and at the same time it is great to drive and very economical. But a Fabia Scout wouldn't do the same job for us or for anyone else who really needed an off-road capable vehicle.
