I have a Skoda Fabia VRS with a remote locking key. It recently stopped working and won't open the car. The little red light on the key flashes when I press it, but the car does nothing. It's definitely the key itself as my spare key works perfectly.Does anyone know whether these keys are repaired (and under warranty?) or do I have to get a new key for £130 from dealer?

I'd change the battery just to be sure , but it should be covered under warranty anyway

You could try changing the battery to see if that makes a difference, but if the red light comes one maybe it needs re-sync'd to your car.
