Octavia purchase

Featured Replies

My older sister is finally thinking of getting rid of her ancient Volvo in favour of a new car. She is interested in a pre-reg Octavia 110TDi Elegance estate that our local dealer has at

Thats a decent price indeed.

It'll be a better engine and higher spec than the new 1.6 octy , so unless there is something specific that the old one doesn't do (like have lots of rear legroom) that she needs from a new car then thats what I'd go for.

I thought Skoda stopped using the 110 non-PD engines some time ago

Although, at that price, seems pretty good. Also, economy on the 110 block is awesome :D

I am ony going on a phonecall to the dealer, he daid it was TDI and not the 90bhp, so I assumed 110. The estate attracts my sister because she carrys 2 springer spaniels and a labrador. Also I do not know how long it has been pre-registered. When I bought my Pre-reg felicia it was already a year old in the log book despite having only 4 miles on the clock.

The elegance only comes in 110 or 130 TDI versions.
