A new conscript of an old Skoda fan. A position attained by careful research.

Starting with a Volkswagen Jetta in 1983 to a Golf for me and a Polo for my wife (to replace her 1970 something Skoda with scary brakes for Yorkshire hills).

On starting work in London we did not need two cars and the Golf went to the son and having got too wide for the Polo we discovered the New Fabia in 2000. We have just upgraded to the new Estate to accommodate my wife's luggage without filling the back seat. :goodvibe: Note not Seat.

Flat Battery in Key Fob - Warning

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

Hello, I just became a proud owner yesterday of a 2021 Škoda Karoq 1.5 tsi dsg sportline in velvet red. I’ve only done 50miles in it so far but absolutely love it. There is a few firsts for this car, first car to auto gearbox, first car in approx 20 years to not be a diesel and my first Škoda or VAG car.
