what about transparent car seat covers for the VRS?

Featured Replies

Leather is super expensive, Hatchbag and Climate covers seem a bit 'agricultural' and cheapo universal covers are often too baggy or too tight.

The standard seats are really nice and something that you'd want to show off, its just a shame that they don't last.

What about a well fitted transparent or semi-transparent seat cover?

Not the plastic bag type you get if the cars been in a garage but something thicker with tough seams.

The only thing i've found is this back of seat cover

Something like this but for the whole seat and zippable sides may be a good idea. I've got a couple of keyboard (music) covers like this and they are really tough. Not sure how it would resist creasing though?

The text taken from the keyboard cover website says:

Keep your keyboard protected against dust and liquid spills with a Keycover. These flexible translucent covers are made from solid vinyl sheet to stop the ingress of dirt or liquids. By incorporating an anti-static agent, Keycovers help to repel the settlement of dust and cause no static electrical charge when placed on or removed from the keyboard. All edges are bound and sewn for long life - do not confuse with cheap welded products.

Replace the word "keyboard" with "Fabia VRS seat" and it starts to make sense.

Might be a bit slidey though

Would be a bit SWEATY in summer:eek:

Good cloth covers would be better.
