Hi all,

I have just chopped in my 6n2 Polo Gti in for a 53 plate VRS and I love it. Bright red aswell .

Anyway car runs like a dream and I bought it from main dealer for the warrenty.

I noticed after a couple of days that the drivers seat has a bit of movement/play in it and can rock slightly forward and back when accelerating and braking.

Just wondering if any of you guys has had this same problem. Luckily its under warrenty but if its something easy I will just do it myself.

It seems to happen on mine when not all of the latches have locked on the slider. Reposition yourself as you usually would, release the lever, and then push back against the footrest with your left foot. You should hear a clunk as the last latch engages, and your seat should be nice and steady!

Mine kinda moves and sqeaks a bit too, the passengers seat is so much more solid!

Mine does it too, always meaning to see if i can tighten it up a little.

Then maybe it's my weight ! :(

2005 Fabia VRS - RED.

My driver seat squeaks alot!! Whenever I use the clutch - like the sound of a creaky door blowing in the wind. Annoying.....but still love the car!!!

Passenger seat not a problem - going into garage next week to get it looked at.
