Just wanted to improve the quite frankly shocking look of the battery cover on the 06 onwards cars by getting one of these. Just wondered if anybody had managed to fit one to an 06 or newer fabia???

I tried to order a battery cover for my 07 Fabia vRS but the part isn't listed for my car's chassis number. I would be interested if anyone finds a cover that does fit.

Do you mean an actual Skoda one???? They battery cover was changed with the 06 cars. Out went the nice looking all over cover and in came the awful looking replacement that looks like the covers been nicked!!!

Not sure whether the older cover could be retro fitted to the newer cars but it'd be a real pain in the.... to do as would need to re-wire the whole lot etc....

I'm wondering if sticky back velcro pads could be used on the underside of one of these covers to hold it in place on top of the battery etc.....

Yes. Apparently the earlier battery cover will not fit the battery box on my 07 vRS so the top of the battery is exposed.
