GTA 4 Full of Bugs.

The reason it installs on the ps3 is to cut down loading times and is down to the ps3 blu-ray drive 's read speed being slower than the 360 dvd drive's read speed . The extra content that the 360 will be getting is supposed to be extra missions and things like that . The ps3 will be getting new content too just not the same as the 360's content as Microsoft have paid Rockstar for the excluisive 360 content... both versions of the game are good although i prefer the 360 version:)

Came out on the PS and PC at the same time... :)

It was on PC because it was great for LAN gaming

Windows & PS versions were out at the same time, but they were both ports of the DOS original ;)

It doesn't install on the eggbox and the only loading time is right at the beginning. I've had no issues - other than having to redo a couple of missions.

I never said that it installs on the 360 I was explaining why it installs on the ps3

But if it installs on the ps3 to cut loading time, why doesn't it have to on the eggbox?

as already said its down to the speed of the drives. bluray is slower.

As said above, the Throughput and seek time on the Eggbox DVD drive is faster than the Bluray on the PS3.

Also the eggbox has double the system memory that the PS3 so can cache things more effectively than the PS3 can.

The Xbox can use the hard-drive to cache game data whilst playing, but because the game has to be designed with the option of the system not having a hard drive (Xbox arcade/core) its not a widely used option by developers :)

No problem at all (so far) with my PS3 version!:P

Actually the 360 sucks balls! So there!!!

:sofahide:

from owning both i can say your wrong :)

although the PS3 has improved with the latest firmware as its much more like the 360 now :)

To be honest, I reckon it depends what you want it for. I store music, videos and watch Blu-rays on mine. I think x-box live is better than PSN but you have to pay for X-box live! My brother has a 360 and I don't reckon you can tell the difference between the graphics and gameplay.

Personally the PS3 works for me, but my comment about the 360 "sucking balls" was a flippant jokey one. I actually think its good (don't tell the PS3 fanboys!!!!)

the ps3 is definitly better some area's and they are very equal in most i only prefer the 360 due to the way the online works and the amount of games available for it :D

in time i expect i will forgot the 360 exists and live on the PS3 but thats a few years away i think :)

Well I think your both wrong... The Wii rules!! :D
