DAB radio into aux socket?

Featured Replies

Anyone tried the DAB radio unit that can be plugged into a head unit or aux socket that's available on the market?

Read up on www.lovemyradio.com that it can be (sometimes) connected via an aux socket, the jumbo box would be an ideal place to keep the unit hidden away.

I have a pure highway plugged in to my aux. Its pretty good, but suffers from low signal reception associated with digital in some areas. Comes with its own stick on aerial.

its easy enough to make a aux in if you dont have jumbo pack but have a stream mp3

Perhaps a daft question, but where do you put the stick on aeriel? I'd have hoped the unit took the analogue feed from the stream unit and converted into a digital signal, as per a freeview box.....

could you run a wire from where the aerial comes out of the dab say by crocodile clip to something metal on the car??? i dont personally know im just guessing on this as i havent seen your dab.

Arial goes on screen (when externally powered). When on battery, uses aux cable or headphones. You would have to use external stick on aerial typically. Route the cable to the jumbo box.
