Featured Replies

Is there a way to run DVD video on Bolero radio ?

It is a way to upgrade something or do I need to change the whole unit with Columbus ?

Thank's

You need to change the whole unit, the drive inside the bolero is CD only and not DVD.

Sorry man ...!

NO DVD in Bolero :(

change u r radio tp Columbus.

Hi,

Is it 'plug and play' for the Columbus on the Bolera set and all functions will work with display on the dot matrix and control from the steering wheel? Thks.

That first link, made in china....

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I suggest that IF you get that original columbus with a reasonable price, buy it. Otherwise, maybe something like this :

That facia fits all latest skodas, superb and octavia also. 1-din with motorized display is cool. And that facia can easily be modified to fit a 2-din player also. And steering remote is no problem either, if you have the time and the energy to ask around.

Of course, original is easy. :)

If you're tempted to change to the Columbus, I might be interested in your Bolero :)

Steve

if i send video through the auxiliary from a usb stick or an ipod can the bolero play it? let's say that the video will be avi.

Any experience on this? :coder:

No, the bolero does not handle video at all.
