Beautiful car, hope it's gone to an owner that appreciates it.

I still remember how proud I was when my dad turned up in one of these. It felt nearly twice the size of our previous car & so solid!

I have a acquaintance who's restoring one of these. Lovely cars. I partial to the Skoda 100 myself, but still, this is art.

I'd love to be able to afford it. Hopefully, I'll be able to get mine close to that in the future; lot of work to catch up to that standard.

1000MB recently sold at auction for £3551 (in latest Practical Classics news section). Owner will accept £3750.

Wish I'd bought the blue one in the original post! Ironically I was in the Czech Republic without an internet connection when the auction ended...
