So after much deliberation and thinking...

I've decided to push forward with the BriskyRun plans for 2013.

The aim of the event is to tour the country for charity as teams, with multiple stop-offs along the route and much fun and games to be had, mainly comprising of an epic scavenger hunt list.

The key points are:

• Fancy Dress is encouraged - Prizes for the best (and worst!)
  
• You will need to post photo/video proof of your exploits for scavenger hunt points
  
• THIS IS NOT A RACE - And forfeiture of your teams deposit will result.
  
• The winner of the scavenger hunt will win an extra bonus for their chosen charity. So make a fool of yourselves for charity is the order of the event - and have some epic driving along the way!
  

I will be posting up some initial routes that have been put together, and would appreciate if anyone has any better choices of route to put them forward before they get finalised.

Accommodation for stop-offs will be the responsibility of the team entering - however the general consensus so far is that a Travelodge/Premier Inn may be a good choice (early booking fees at £19? worth a shot for a night!).

As for deposit...

This is to be confirmed. A percentage of the deposit will obviously go towards a prize for the winning team, then possibly cover accommodation costs, and leaving the rest for you to receive back on completion.

Here's a small selection of some of the items on the Scavenger Hunt list:

• Serenade a McDonalds drive thru with your order (video proof required)
  
• "I play well with others" - Interpret, and video/photo - best submission wins the points
  
• Get a picture with the police. Bonus points for involvement of handcuffs (keep it legal)
  
• The parallel parking challenge - Fastest parallel park wins the points (video evidence required - crashing not ideal!)
  
• Best gurner of 2013
  
• Take part in a 4-legged race
  
• Retrieve an X-ray of yourself
  
• Write a poem and recite it loudly in a services for all to hear. Bonus points for recieving collections in a cap (more money = more points)
  
• Ghetto cooking - interpret and submit. Best submission gets the points.
  
• Get a picture with a celebrity. Best submission wins (the crazier the pic the better)
  
• Creampie challenge - Attempt to catch an opposition team by surprise and cream pie them in the face. Team with the most after 5 days wins the points.
  
• TRESPASSERS WILL BE SHOT - Interpret, and submit. Best submission wins the points.
  
• Man vs Food - most epic meal defeated wins the points.
  
• The apocalypse is coming... - Best submission wins the points.
  
• Perform 'build me up buttercup' in a florists. Video evidence required.
  
• En Garde - Best sword/breadstick/light saber/etc battle wins. Video evidence required.

Get involved and do something for charity next year - and have an experience you'll not forget (although judging by some of the video evidence, you might want to forget certain bits of it!)

We've decided to be "Team Awesome" but were not 100% on the outfits yet.
