New headlights:

Broken grill surround :( :

Happened when trying to shut the bonnet after fitting the headlights and thinking it was something wrong with the bonnet catch, not realising that the headlight was preventing it from shutting properly. :( Just glad the headlight wasn't damaged as the grill is cheaper to replace, so something good from a bad situation.

That is some serious bad luck mate. On the plus side your new headlights look great :-)

New one ordered, so when it arrives i'll just swap over my current grill and put the new surround on. It will also give me a chance to spray my current chrome surround silver and see how it looks, then i've always got the newer one to turn black if silver looks too much.

Good plan. Would like to see it colour coded :-)

I think i'll end up forgetting about the gap in time, so will probably just leave it as it is.

Just wait until i've got the 300G fitted in the rear window, double the 'idiots'.

New grill arrived at home and few bits ordered off eBay for another mod i'm going to attempt to do.

Just got to wait 2 weeks before i'm back home to be able to fit them. :(

Can you also supply a few details about what youve bought? Ie what size pipe and what size fittings are on the catch tank?

I was going to paint the grill but following some advice, i've decided to go down the above route instead.

No idea at the moment, i'll have something lying around that can be used or i've been looking at those air filter cones that some people have used, so just need to make up my mind.

You can get silicone bungs which fit perfect dude 25mm ID you want, sold in pairs by ASH and under a fiver I think
