No I didn't actually, I got quoted by Wardy_21. He's quite local too.

Was quoted £1350 which seems really good to me :)

thats a good deal! :) i would say black is the best colour to respray because you can leave the engine bay the original colour and it wont look odd :) go some crazy colour charlie! like ermm.. green like gee's old wheels! haha

Probably not if I'm honest. Looking for June/ July. Unless I can save up that quickly lol

What's prept?? :D

I will try to get to one of the Maidstone meets. Would be good to go to a meet on the coast somewhere, especially if the weathers good. B)

PREPT is a meet the last Wednesday evening of the month at Brands Hatch circuit. So next Wednesday 30/01/2013 from 7pm £2 entry. The Kentagon pub within the circuit is open serving drinks and food. It's a good turn out. I will be going in the Furby.

I can't decide whether a 4th coat is needed or if it will be too much. I think i'll just leave it for now.

Can't wait to get my Pasty badge to stick on there, then it will be complete. B)

Daylight shot:

Decided i'm not going to spray another coat on as i'm quite happy with how it's turned out. There's just a couple of areas i'd like to improve but i'm in no rush and it will go straight onto the car once i get the new badge. :)

Awesome. Can't wait to get my grille back now and get my pasty badge on there :)

It did give it a bit of a shine. Not too in your face but there is a bit of something there.

I didn't do the best of jobs on it but it will do for now and, with having another chrome grill sitting at home, i might give it another go on that one. :)

Looks good. Intrigued to see what it looks like on the car.

I was going to wait until i get my Pasty badge to stick it back on but i'm not sure if i want to drive around without it on until then, so may stick it on soon.

Did you find a small filter to finish off your catch can mate?

Yeah, got one off eBay.

I haven't bought anything to go inside the catch can yet though as some people suggest wire wool.

Oh cool I see ash offer a couple too. Do you have a pic of the one you got?

Oh cool it's an ash one too :)
