Never posted anything in here as i didn't think i would do much modding to my car but this year that all changed.

This is how my car looked just 10 months after i bought her brand new:

Briskoda139.jpg

At this point, the only mods were some Briskoda.net stickers. :D

Kept her pretty standard for all these years until this year when i changed the rear badges for some Mk2 badges:

Before:

After:

I also added a Robert Dyas LED light into the boot, stuck on with super strength velcro:

Briskoda53.jpg

I then changed the stereo for a Sony Explode, bought a storage drawer for under the stereo and replaced the vRS badge on the gear stick for a new one as my original had been damaged by the garage:

Excuse the mess in the car, hadn't vacuumed for a while. :D

Some 17" Spiders then became available on eBay, so contacted the seller and made a deal to buy them but i had to go and pick them up, so took a trip to the Lake District:

Drove down to Halesowen to have the tyres fitted, Toyo Proxes T1-R's all round and this was how she looked:

This was my total driving time and distance on the day after i drove back to Surrey:

That was going from Stourbridge, to the Lakes, back to Stourbridge (via Halesowen) and then to Redhill in 1 day.

I then found some old PastyBoy badges i had bought a few years before but never got round to using them, so i used the VW wheel centres that came with the alloys and ended up with this:

I also fitted a Devonutopia bonnet lifter (picture taken November 2012):

Then i had this arrive in the post:

I decided i wanted to update a few stickers and change the front badge:

Took another trip to the Lakes but this time it was actually for a holiday:

And while in the Lakes, decided Scotland wasn't too far, so set off to visit where i stayed back in 2005:

And some of the local scenery:

Headed back to the Lakes:

Then i decided i needed to better prepare my car for Castle Combe as the sticker wouldn't stop me at high speeds, so i bought these off eBay after being let down by a former member on here:

After a bit of sanding and a paint job later (and another couple of stickers):

I then made a little change to the indicator bulbs, swapping from orange to silver:

And had this fitted:

Thanks for your hard work Group1RS.

Next up was another couple of minor mods. Moved the handsfree mic:

Finally, this is how she is currently looking:

I've still got these to fit:

It's only taken me 8 years but i think the mod bug has got its teeth firmly in me now. :)

Oh, and i paid a visit to Rob @ W8 Performance last night and had a Shark remap added as well. ;):)

Hopefully people have made it this far and i will continue to update when i do things.

I know it's going to be nothing new to a lot of people but it's my pride and joy.

I think Pete was as surprised as you were when i said i'd owned it from new and hadn't really done anything to it until this year. :D

I keep toying with the idea of taking the bump strips off and have photoshopped a few of my pics to see how it looks but then i read the stories about paint bubbling and it puts me off. :( I also can't decide which i prefer. :D

ahh quality may have to be another item to my basket on ebay :giggle:

Do it. ;)

This is the guy i got them from: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-VRS-Brake-Caliper-Calliper-Decals-Stickers-Octavia-Fabia-/380501443549?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5897a743dd

I think there are some cheaper ones on there but i like the quality of these and they were delivered within days.

It was desperation as the nearest Skoda dealership was Dumfries and Ayr i think and i thought i needed it at the time but turns out i didn't as it's still in my garage. :D
