So at around 1am I was just filling up with diesel when some bloke wandered over to ask

"Hey, do you like your car ? I hear good things about them, I've just never met somoeone who owns one"

So natch I told him my roomie is my favourite car I've ever owned and extolled it's virtues.

I feel happy

I met a woman in IKEA's car park who jealously watched us stuff our Roomie full of Scandinavian flat pack, while her generic SUV was left with cardboard sticking out of windows.

"Should've bought a Skoda Roomster" as myself and my other half like to say to unfortunates who didn't.

Last week I was at a retail park when two old dears of uncertain vintage started pointing at my Roomster. Eventually they came over and one said "See, I told you it was a Roomster" and then she told me her friends husband had taken delivery of one the day before. The silent one then told me how it was their 5th Skoda, having had Octavias and Fabias, and she was dubious of the Roomsters carrying capacity. I lowered my rear window so she could see the boxed 6 person wood patio table and chairs I had just bought which was stashed in the rear. She left reassured that Skodas were still as good as ever!

We had a Roomie. Now got an Octy VRS and a Citigo...........do miss the Roomster!
