Rapid vRS

Interesting front badge

That's one of the Rapid spoilers and Octy 3 VRS badges from Super Skoda.

Front bumper looks like an Elegance one, it's not got any extra "sporty" bits like VRSs have and the wheels are obviously off a mkII Fabia VRS.

Interesting idea, but looks like someone making a VRS lookalike.

A bit like my Yellow one will be. :)

Dayglow badges? Spoiler looks nice and the roof looks smart as well.

Not keen on the white Gigaros though.

Adlav needs to see this to give him some ideas for his Rapid.

Looks smart - I want the drl LEDs.

Spoiler looks awesome, may have to invest in one...

I like the look of that! Guess its just a question of which engine! The twincharged 1.4 TSI is great but is limited to the DSG 'box. 2.0 TDI pretty strong but heavy for a car this size. 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI maybe overkill. Perhaps the new cylinder on demand 1.4 TSI would suit?

I thought the twincharged engine in the Fabia was limited to DSG because they didn't have a manual that could handle the torque AND fit in the physical space available for it? Can't remember where I read that now but pretty sure I read it somewhere...

badges on all vrs do this, it is like a reflective material, our 2011 fabia vrs badge does it especially in the xenon lights of the Yeti.

Don't like the white wheels but each to there own I suppose.

Torque wouldn't be a problem unless they couldn't fit a six speed so would make sense

I've also heard its because there isn't space for a manual gearbox able to handle the torque. The 7-speed DSG is pretty much on its limit in this configuration though as 250nm is the quoted max.

I wonder whether this is real or not.

This is not creation of Škoda Auto, but an interesting presentation from the company Skalicky Racing.

So not 'real', does look good though :)

DRLs are nice, white wheels are not (IMO)!

Anyone spot the colour coded sides of the grill to split the lights up from the grill yet? :)

That looks good

Does it get a 1.1 quad turbo?

Going to be ordering the v1 spoiler and the splitter attatchment thingy seen here...

And been debating 18 inch wheels - short list so far are:

VW Scirocco Turbines

Skoda Octavia vRS Neptunes

BBS CH of some description.

All when funds allow and the misses doesn't notice :)

Tempted by black mirrors but not 100%.

^^^ Probably won't happen but gives me ideas for a Rallye Green Spaceback "Sport" :)

Its a sport version, all show & no go

I like that

That would be a serious alternative with the demise of the Fabia vRS

Damn

Damn

Are you on solutions AdLav? I think you can swap at any time :)

Still not expecting a vRS but if a Sport version looks remotely like this I'll be wanting one!

Those aren't Sparco seats, but the factory Dynamic seats :)
