Moon White Metallic?

Featured Replies

Has Moon White Metallic always been available?, don't recall seeing this colour when I ordered my car, I only seem to remember seeing the solid White.

As far as I remember - it was introduced together with FL version.

It has just been introduced in Sweden.

I could not choose that colour when I ordered my FL in august.

I don't like it, too gray/blue I think.

Haven't seen the colour, know it was introduced on the Yeti FL.

I think the Candy White suits the Superb and there are a few of us on here with them.

Would be keen to see pics of Moon White if anyone has.

It was intorduced with the FL I believe.

It's a white they can charge you more for. :)

It was introduced in 2013 Nov, at least in LT.

I asked about it when ordering my Superb FL, the dealer told me there would be a 6 to 8month wait for the car if i opted for Moon White due to it not being a popular colour choice. In the end i opted for Candy White and a 10week delivery promise.

White is white afterall.

Same here I think.

We have a Moon white Yeti on order due to arrive in a couple of weeks. No idea what it will look like but with it being on motability it doesn't cost extra for metallic paint. Went for it as you only live once and if it looks as good as Audi's Glacier White it could look great........ Possibly!

I was presented with an old Brochure when picking my Colour, had I known this option was available I would have gone for this instead of the Petrol Blue, I'm not a big fan of Solid Colours so the normal White was a none starter, just gutted the Saleswomen didn't mention it though as I said several times about not liking none metallic Colours, especially Whites when talking to her. Love to see pics of the Yeti just to complete my misery ;)

Got the Moon white Yeti Outdoor. Will get some pics up when the weather lets me. If you like white then you will love Moon White. Its a very crisp, bright  white and slightly changes shade in different lighting. You have to look closely to tell its metallic. Although I love it, I'm not sure I would have liked to pay extra over Candy White though.

When I took my car in to get the switch fixed the other day I asked if they had any Moon White Superbs in that I could have a look at and they haven't seen one yet.

Here's some pics of ours. Sorry it's not a Superb but might help. Photo's don't really pick out the metallic but the best way to describe it is that it's a very sharp, bright white, not at all creamy. In fact it's so white it looks blue at times and can change in different light.

still tricky to see! Looks ummm.... white! I guess a macro photo would be better - would it be similar to this at all?

Yes sorry about the pics. Poor camera and white is a pain to photo. To be honest the white in the pic you have put up looks far more metallic, even maybe pearlesent.  I would say Moon white isn't as good as that. Although I love it as it's a different brighter white to Candy white I personally wouldn't pay the extra over Candy white.  (ours is Motability so metallic is FOC) If Skoda didn't do the solid Candy white FOC then I would be happy to pay to have it in Moon white but when given the choice of £0 or £595 I think i would save the money. This is purely my own opinion.
