16" Wheels trims from a scrappy - How much ish?

Recommended Posts

I want some 16" trims for the winter steelies, eBay just seems full of single ones for silly money.

Official store price looks to be in the region of £60.

So how much for a decent set from a scrappy, never been before so don't want to be taken for a ride on the price!

Or caddy black centre caps look good.

Any thoughts to guide me.......

If you wanted VAG wheel trims I think you would struggle for much choice in 16" size, i dont think any Octavia's had 16" steels as standard?

Prob few different VW and SEAT ones that I can think of.

Will pay stupid price for them though, and as stated you wouldnt have much chance at a scrappy.

The Beetle and Bora's had 16" steels, and also some SEAT's (Altea's possibly Leon's).

Maybe some AUDI's had 16" steels?

Beetle ones (if you can find x4):

Golf estate had this style:

Not sure about that, Skoda are offering 16 inch trims for the Octy 2 that actually do look quite amart. Pretty certain these were standard on the Superb mark 1.

Yeh they are mk1 Superb trims, AFAIK there was never any 16" steels on Octavia mk2, so these are obviuosly now being marketed as an Octavia accessory. They are pretty hideous looking and £65??! a piece? yeh right.  £260 for a set of plastic trims? - come on Skoda.

No, they are £65 per set of 4 according to the listing.

I reckon they look OK, especially if they are only to cover winter steels

Mike

Fair play, I Missed that, I dont think they are the nicest but for that price for a brand new set thats pretty good price, and I suppose if it for winter wheels they would do the job
