Rear view camera available from Week 22, 2016

Featured Replies

Guys some good news from Switzerland!

At the Geneva Motor Show the local dealer told me that, from Week 22 / 2016 - Rear View Camera will be an option for Fabia III. Expected price 200-250 Euro. Unfortunately he wasn't able to tell me if it will be available for retrofit.

That's cool, but on a small car with good visibility I don't really see the need!!

On our 9G Civic you can see nothing out of the rear so a reversing camera is great and really needed!

Well it's a nice small safety feature mostly for the ladies. Even I would order it just because I love fully loaded cars.

Retrofit is the least of the issues,  refitting more likely a regular thing.

Next to the place you open a hatch is not really 'Simply Clever', it looks simply Ebay £3.99. 'Genuine VAG flitmant'.

I don't like the placement of it either..

Best place for it however overkill for most IMHO.

In theory it should be retrofittable if the connections are there behind the HU and maybe a bit of coding
