Convertible Skoda?

Featured Replies

Caught a very small amount of the Tour de France last week.

In the bit I saw, a doctor was replacing bandages on a cyclists knees. They do this by the cyclist holding on to a convertible which drives along as the doctor tends to their wounds.

The wing mirror of said convertible was folded back and had skoda in big black letters on it. All the other support cars seem to be skodas. Does this mean that there's a convertible skoda in the offing, or was it just something else in disguise?

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Sorry to upset you, It's an Audi A4 Convertable. Thought it was strange when it drove past the bottem of my road the other Sunday.

No surprise, an Audi is just a rebadged Skoda after all :P

:) Another one.

it you do a bit of research you will see since 2004 skoda have sponsored the tour de france. You will also notice that their name is every where you look, on the road, on the jerseys everywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!! so the team doctor was just advertising their sponsor

Cheers Dave, although you have demonstrated why the Rapid wasn't a proper convertable, just a T-bar.
