  1. I just replaced it, it only cost me about 10 quid but took a couple of weeks to get it because it was from Poland. I think most vag ones fit Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Had a warning saying emissions workshop, after getting it scanned it was the egr At fault which I replaced and the light went out, but after driving almost 500 miles the engine management light is back on saying emissions workshop, surely it can't be the egr valve again? 3. I think so because there's a fault but I'm not 100 per cent sure, mine was behind the trim on the passenger seat belt Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. Try the speaker, mine was located on the passenger b pillar Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Really like the q7 but just wouldn't be able to afford to keep it on the road, I've been looking at the kias as well, you seem to get a lot of car for your money with kia Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. I want to stay away from people carriers, even if I did get something like a 7 seater 4x4 ideally I want one that I can still fit the kids in on the back row Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. I know what you mean about the rear seats, there's not much room if the car got rear ended for it to crumple, ideally would like a car still maybe an audi a6 if they are wider inside than the octavia, as well as looking at cars I need to look at a 3rd car seat which will be a booster but ideally one with a back rather than just the base for a bit more safety and comfort Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Started looking at cars similar to the vw touran, like the qashqui+2 and kia sorento, or was thinking a 5 seater that is wider than the octavia, but it's pretty hard finding them. Giving away a child is looking a lot easier than finding the right car Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. Currently I've got a 2005 octave elegance 2.0tdi, really happy with the car couldn't ask for more, but we're expecting our third child and there just isn't going to be enough room in the car for 2 adults and 3 baby seats unless on of the kids sat in the front and an adult in the back, the drama is fitting 3 child seats in the back. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? Or will I have to look at a different car? If we do need a different car it can not be anything like a vauxhall zafirs or citroen Picasso, hate the look of those kind of cars Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. Going for a long drive Saturday so hopefully 100miles on the motorway will clear it Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. I had a fault code for the egr valve, so today I replaced it with a new one. The engine management light is still on for the fault, tried disconnecting the battery for a while but it didn't clear it. can it be cleared with out vcds? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. Take the manifold off it only takes about 15 minutes Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. I've got an engine management light on and a scan shows it to be the egr valve, the egr cleaner I've got says to remove the air filter and spray into the engine while it's idling, but will it be good enough to clear the build up of soot in the egr valve and save me taking it off to clean? Any help appreciated Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. How long does it take to do the egr clean? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. Just had it read. Egr fault came up Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
