  1. I have a Skoda vRS mk3 not with kessy. I got home last night and used the fob to lock the car as normal. I've got up this morning and I'm locked out. The fob doesn't work, neither does the spare. I've taken the cap off the drives door and tried manually with the key but that doesn't work either. Any ideas?
  2. I'd say a boost pressure faulty sensor. Seems quite common mine was reading the outside temperature at 400 degrees so just shut the engine down. My dealer took a sensor of a showroom one and put it on mine. Was fixed within the hour.
  3. Got around to taking a picture of it today... Touch it up myself? Get it professionally done?
  4. Ok I think I'll attempt to touch it up myself. I can see loads of topics and the Pantone for the green paint. Does anyone know the Pantone for the red caliper paint?
  5. Had my diesel Vrs for around 6 months and been having quite a bad problem with brake dust build up on the Gemini alloys. I ve been reading on here and though that a jet wash might be my answer. Today I've borrowed one from the brother in law to see how effective it is... On the plus side it removed all the brake dust but on the down side my brake calipers are no longer red! It took the paint straight off. I'm gutted. Will it just be a simple case of re painting the half of it that is no longer red, or will the remaining need to come off? Can I fix it myself?
  6. Ahhh I'm with you, mine is still in its 'original' folder. I'll have another go later.
  7. So..... I've downloaded the file from the link provided by Andy. Which saved it to my computer as a .zip file. Then right click and extracted it to my memory card. Put it in my car which is now saying no update files found... Any ideas?
  8. I had the car yesterday it was the pressure boost sensor. It was swapped out of another car and is working fine! Glad it was something simple and not mechanical.
  9. Well after waiting for 9months for the car. I had this problem driving home from work the other night. Glow plug indicator began to flash followed by the engine management light illuminating. Then into limp mode. I managed to get it home but the garage have no idea what the problem is. I'm hoping that after covering 1,250 miles it will 'just' be a faulty sensor. My car is a Vrs manual diesel estate MY15 anyone else had similar problems?
  10. They told me 5 months when I ordered mine... It took 9months! Good luck.
