  1. I have a 2010 2.0l CR diesel Octavia Scout with 85k miles on the clock. It has developed a stutter on acceleration between 1900 - 2100 rpm in the last couple of days, and is most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd. Once past 2100, the acceleration continues cleanly. Has anyone else experienced this? It may be coincidence or not, but The VW/Audi 'update' was also carried out 6 weeks ago, and afterwards sounded slightly 'throatier', but didn't show any other differences that I could tell.

I have had the exhaust warning light appear on the Scout: https://flic.kr/p/oCeAFv and, using a friends scanner, have the code P2454 - DPF differential pressure sensor fault: https://flic.kr/p/oCcVq5 https://flic.kr/p/oBXVv2 after a search for for sensor location, I believe that it is located here: https://flic.kr/p/oCeAEP If this is the correct sensor, examining it shows that there is one pipe coming from what I believe is the DPF, and one that is open to the air (marked with a red line on the picture): https://flic.kr/p/okJQ9w https://flic.kr/p/oCcVpo This seems curious, as the circuit diagram I have found (from here: http://www.volkspage...ssp/SSP_336.pdf) shows it as a closed circuit with a pipe from each side of the DPF: https://flic.kr/p/okKa3m If this ISN'T the correct sensor, could someone possibly show me where I should be looking, as I'd like to be sure that it isn't a faulty connection before changing it. (copied from the diagnostics forum, as I haven't had any joy in getting a response there)

  5. I ordered mine on March 31st 2010, and it arrived September 1st 2010. They were pretty inept at paying the compensation (Dealer says in Head office, head office say "no such thing, it's the main dealer" etc) but my £150 did come through ok in the end...much to my wife's delight!

  8. Mine took just shy of 6 months to arrive, and as a "good will gesture" I received an M&S gift card for £150.
  9. Mine was the same. An old boy who really seemed to care about the cars he was driving, and insisted I took my time and looked it over carefully before he left. I then gave him a lift to the train station, as they have to make their own way home.

  11. Finding steel wheels in 16" x 6J x PCD 112 flavour, is clearly an unpossible task

  12. Another CR140 Scout owner here, and am very happy with it. It's much more refined than the PD, sitting halfway between a PD and a Petrol. As Raglits says, it's fairly new to the Skoda fleet, but has been in VW's for a while now.
