New to me Enyaq 60 incoming
...it'll be my 6th Skoda ๐ฎ Hello everyone ๐ I'm collecting the car on Friday. 22 plate in dark grey seems to have a good spec with drive package basic, family pack basic & basic assisted drive package. Is there a label on the car somewhere with all the option codes on? It won't be my first EV, I've had an MG4 company car for the last year or so and we also have a T6 hybrid XC60. Jon

Major electrical issues
I'm sure there was an issue with the main 12v connection onto the fuse box on some early cars?

Tips, tricks, things to check or try
Welcome๐ Once it's on fixed service, it can't be changed. Can't comment on oil. Matrix light early/late is for how light or dark it is before they come on, not how much you dazzle anyone one else. Mine is set for late. I use the Skoda online thingy, but you have to have your own data only sim card inserted if you want real time traffic data etc. I like that it's more integrated than using carplay.

engine light
I'm getting the breakdown service put to have a look, if it can't be reset I'll get it in the dealer.

engine light
Has this been sorted now? My 1.5TSI did the same yesterday driving down the M6. Light came on, no loss of power. Nothing in the vehicle status or the "inspection report" on the APP.

Superb Mk4
I can't believe the design meeting decided to make the new Superb bigger! Not exactly tiny to start with๐

Battery Replacement
Charger was connected as advised in the owners manual (yes, I did read it๐) Before battery was changed the STOP/Start never worked, we were heading off to the Alps for a skiing holiday, so car would be sat in minus quite a lot at 1500m all week. I was also getting the engine management light after starting the engine. Battery fitted, SS working, no issues when parked for a week, no issues since.

Battery Replacement
My replacement battery was fitted by Halfords mobile fitter, I paid for it to be fitted as I thought it had to be coded. They didn't. Start engine, lots of errors, steering lock to lock, errors cleared. I connected my CTEK charger overnight, no issues since.

Roofbar position
could you leave them attached to the roofbox?

Xenon Headlights aimed too low?
Does the beam pattern change with speed? Does the light beam turn when cornering? My first Superb had the same issue. I'd optioned the xenon lights on my SE Business spec car. Dipped beam was just dangerous at night! I eventually got the main dealer to investigate, it appeared they were never enabled correctly so none of the auto light pattern stuff worked. Headlights worked perfectly once they'd connected to whatever computer they use in the workshop. Beam pattern could clearly be seen to adjust through changing speeds

Superb mk3 reliability
can't comment on reliabilty, a 2wd with good all season tyres will be more effective than 4wd with summer tyres

Dead battery, EFB vs AGM replacement (and self code?)
Halfords fiited a new battery to my 2019 1.5TSI, can't remember what was in there before. They didn't code it as "it's the same as the one we took out, it only might need coding if completely dead" Anyway, gots lots of warnings on first start, turned steering to full lock each direction, all errors gone. I did leave in on my CTEK trickle charge overnight and gave it a few longish runs - including a drive to the Alps! No issues since, SS works as it should now, whereas before it never worked with the old battery.

GPS clock in France still on GMT
You have to set to GMT +1 I'm told the lights (xenon AFS etc) should automatically change to the other side but mine never have

Skoda connect
As above, either use a data only sim card or switch on mobile hotspot on your phone and connect cars WLAN to that. The car does have an inbuilt network - so you can check it's location/doors locked/alarm going off etc but you can't use that
