Women shouldn’t be judged against men in sport, it’s just not a comparison.

After the war the women’s football scene was huge, so the FA basically banned it. my daughter is a keen footballer and plays for an academy in a league against boys. I’ve taken her to watch Chelsea women and it’s a far more enjoyable experience than watching men’s football, £10 for me and my daughter and her friend got in for free. Players earning real world money and more approachable, games far less scripted. I hope the women’s game gets back to where it should be after what the FA did to disrupt it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-30329606

nice new modern car, cannot see the low mileage causing any issues whatsoever, once lockdown restrictions have been lossened you will probably be able to go for a nice long drive, will be nice for you and your partner to get out. Unless you financially need to then I would keep the car, you never know when yoyu may require it? All the best and stay safe

Hated all the jobs I’ve had from my mid 20’s until I became an on call firefighter, now finally going wholetime which will hopefully see me out till I retire.

Time wasters messing me about when selling my M135i, I can see how WBAC are doing so well!

I’ve had a play with a few active cruise control cars recently. The Volvo V60 had lane assist as well and would keep you in the middle of your lane, that’s was very odd! I like the idea of the car doing the work when I’m stuck in traffic, which is why I wanted a car with it.
-
yeah maybe lol. It’s a crazy rare spec, active cruise and adaptive suspension are rare on a 1 series.
-
Well to put an end to this.... I’ve just agreed a deal on a 120d xdrive which I pick up on Sunday. Really well spec’d car which had a price of £38k new. I’ve got a week to try and sell the M135i before it goes in PX

Thanks for all your replies. I went out in a golf GTD yesterday, its a capable car and a nice place to be. Unsure on the quality of the extended warranty with VW, DPF is excluded and I've heard a few stories about them being reluctant to pay out for repairs. BMW are really good warranty wise. I've spotted a well spec'd 120d X drive m sport SE locally which has active cruise, adaptive suspension and a load of other toys, waiting for the dealer to send some photos before deciding to go and see it. I may just run the M135i for a year longer, and see what fully electric cars come out. It will cost me about £2k more in fuel but save me £6k in buying a new car.

If mine sells then I’ll probably go look at some cars and try and kick a few £k off the asking price. Seats do offer great value, the Mrs has just ordered a Tarraco and I was tempted by the Ateca.
-
yeah I’ve been looking at the Leon, 184’s aren’t very common and often not spec’d well. I seem to change my mind everyday, Volvo is winning today. I was thinking of keeping the 135i for a year, then selling and getting an ID3, but now someone wants to come view mine lol

I’ve been out in the Volvo and it’s a nice place to be. Not that engaging to drive but it won’t be anything near what I’m driving now
-
Value doesn’t really matter to me. If I’m spending a lot of time in the car I’d rather be safe and comfortable. I’m not sure where I will be based but it will probably be motorway. I've actually started looking the BMW 3 series tourers and they look good value. I don’t think the M135i is special enough to keep as a weekend car
-
I find the BMW a bit dull inside, and also getting one with a good spec seems impossible. Don’t want to buy brand new and spec one myself.

car will be kept under warranty so although it will be a pain if it goes wrong, at least it won’t cost me.
